Grand Theft Auto 3, just like the previous two installments is a driving game focused on stealing car, breaking the law, and avoiding the cops. There are many more missions to complete throughout the game that range in difficulty and demand different skill sets. In Grand Theft Auto 3, the graphics have greatly improved over the previous iterations and the controls are easier to use as well.
While there aren't too many differences in storylines between the first three installments, Grand Theft Auto 3 brings in new backgrounds, new challenges, and new characters that were not available in the other games. It feels fresher and more dangerous than ever before, making it one of the most beloved games on the market.

While there isn't a lot of reading and speaking that goes into stealing cars and breaking the law, Grand Theft Auto 3 is offered in many different languages. While this version of the game is much more modern than its older relatives, Grand Theft Auto 3 should hardly be considered a modern game by today's standards and it lacks much of the refinement that comes with newer games.
